Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA)

An ERA is a cutting-edge test to determine the endometrial status and which time/period would be best for the transfer of the embryo for implantation. This test is beneficial for patients who have experienced implantation failures. We can check the receptivity of the endometrium through this molecular diagnostic test which helps the Doctors to locate the implantation window so that a personalised embryo transfer can be done to reduce the chances of implantation failure.

Benefits of ERA

  • Determines the suitable time for embryo implantation
  • Eases the process of implantation

IMSI

IMSI is a technique used in IVF and involves injecting morphologically selected sperm into the egg. In conventional Intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), sperm is selected at high magnification. However, the IMSI procedure allows a far better evaluation, since sperms are selected before the microinjection process and at a far higher magnification. The microscope used is an inverted microscope that provides a much higher magnifying power (around 6000 times) than those that are usually used in ART laboratories (400 times) to carry out ICSI. With this microscope, Embryologists can view the internal morphology of the sperm and discard those with abnormalities. IMSI increases the fertilisation rate and used specially in the case of low morphology

Laser Assisted Hatching

Laser Assisted hatching is a technique used in In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) that may improve the implantation of embryos into a woman’s uterine lining by creating an opening through which the embryonic cells can hatch out. Pregnancy cannot occur unless the embryo hatches.
